Kayaking

We rent and sell Ocean Kayaks. These boats have generous flotation and are  extremely stable, and will carry just about anything- a picnic lunch, fishing or crabbing gear, and even full northern dive gear with 2 tanks. Ocean Kayaks are all made with an  open top, which makes it easy to get in and out of your boat from a dock, from shore, and even from the water.

Ocean kayaks make good  personal dive boats. They are a great way to access the south reefs off our property, inside the new Waketickeh Creek Conservation Area. Load up a boat and it's your choice- pull it up on shore and save a long walk, anchor it in the shallows, or tow it behind you and climb right onboard when you finish your dive.

Kayaks make a perfect boat for viewing  wildlife, because they are so quiet. Sneak up on a seal, surprise a Great Blue Heron, or spot a bald eagle in its nest.
