The waters to the right out front have recently been designated a Washington State Conservation Area, because of their importance as marine life breeding areas. You can still fish off the dock, though, and it only takes 5 minutes by rowboat to reach good fishing and crabbing. We expect the stock to increase in number and size every year with the new protected area. Shrimpers find themselves in the heart of spot prawn territory right offshore.
Licenses for fish and shellfish are available at the Eldon store, just a mile and a half away, and be sure to check current state regulations or e-mail us about seasonal restrictions and limits.
